Guess I was bored enough and did a scene where Miranda finds Shepard's body within the ruins of London. Oh well, guess it gave me the opportunity to learn how to use Blender. So yes, this is my first attempt of using Blender to render the models and then adding in the background and editing the picture. So if anything, this is considered a trial, but if you want to call it something else, then feel free to.

The way Miranda sheds a tear when she finds Shepard in the rubble wounded but alive really impacts the hearts of those who are a fan of this Mass Effect couple. The background fits very perfectly with the scenery. Originality and technique are generally positive in my eyes. Truly is one of the most interesting Mass Effect artwork I've ever seen. If this was added to the real game, I would definitely play the whole story from beginning to end. The rating I'd give this would be a 10/10 so I would totally recommend this piece of work on deviantART.

Are you familiar with this piece of art [link] ? Does the artist know you're stealing their ideas? Perhaps you should use your imagination for ideas rather than the search bar. People might start to question your integrity.
There is a difference between plagiarism and just popular themes. Shepard is laying wounded in rubble in the Destroy ending. Obviously, many and more people will picture their chosen LI finding the Commander. Likewise, after Shepard mentioned "lots of blue babies", the number of Liara fans that have given image to these babies is staggering. But you wouldn't say they are copying each other, correct? In the Liara fandom, blue babies are simply a common theme.
I understand your concern and it has been noted. Now when I start to think of ideas for a piece, I NEVER look at other artists work 99.9% of the time. The only time I look at other pieces is after I had finished posing to gain ideas for minor things such as shading. I come up with themes for the pieces, keeping in mind that people may have already done them. So in saying that, never had I once looked at the work that you have pointed out. The piece above was inspired by an earlier piece of mine: [link] , except that it is in a slightly different context, so that's why I even did this one in the first place. So chances are that the theme is coincidental or since the only time that I looked at it was a couple of months ago that the idea came to me unconsciously.
Now to the posing, you may or may not be aware of it but have a good look at the minor things. Yes, their bodies may be in a similar position, but look at the things such as the hands and heads. Also, if had shown their lower bodies, then they would be completely different.
If needed to, I will give some credit to the other artist and add them to my notes above. But keep in mind that this piece was not inspired by theirs. I hope this had cleared some air.
