A piece where Shepard finds Miranda, the latter being close to death. This was inspired by the song "My Last Breath" by Evanescence and also Miranda's death scene in ME3.
Hold on to me, love You know I can't stay long All I wanted to say was I love you and I'm not afraid, oh
Can you hear me? Can you feel me in your arms?
Holding my last breath Safe inside myself Are all my thoughts of you Sweet raptured light, it ends here tonight
I think you did a good job with this. Where it looks like you've merged images together these are not the centre focus so it doesn't matter. In fact it adds to the whole scene - contributing a warped sense of reality which works well for the moment. I think I can see sheets of rain and that you've made good effort to make it look like Shepard's armour and Miranda's outfit are wet. The only criticism I might have is perhaps the putting in of a few droplets on them, from them (lets have a tear from Shepard!), and maybe in the foreground - maybe falling from the camera (ooo! Idea: this image miniaturised as viewed through a droplet falling in the foreground kinda mirroring Shepard's tear).
The idea for it is really good. I mean the concept, the last breath, oh and I know that song so yeah. Appreciation!
Anyway I originally came here to ask if it would be OK for me to add this to the albums of a Facebook page I admin called Mass Effect Miranda Lawson. I'd include reference to you as artist and a link back to your original here in the photo caption so even if shared by other people/pages that would still be viewable and traceable. Thoughts?
Thank you for your feedback, I'm glad that you enjoyed the picture
Anyway, I give you permission to add this pic to the Facebook page, it would be good to see it up there. Thanks for asking and sorry for the late response as I don't have access to the internet and it wasn't until I went back to my parent's place that I was able to give a reply.
After I saw her death scene on YouTube, I found myself unable to decide whether it was beautiful because she managed to choke out "I love you" or tragic because she died. I nearly shed a manly tear. NEARLY. For the record I can never bring myself to kill her off.
BTW love the pic but couldn't you leave killing Miranda to the Talimancers? Or Bioware?
